Following planning approval it is often necessary to produce an arboricultural method statement (AMS) to discharge conditions or to provide further information to the contractor, or to provide a client with detailed information on tree protection as part of the detailed design process following planning consent.
An arboricultural method statement is a detailed document which specifies how the development will be built without damaging retained trees during the process. Using specialist arboricultural knowledge and technical expertise we find practical working solutions. The statement often includes specifications for tree protection barriers and other tree protection measures, detailed practical methods for undertaking works around tree crowns and roots and is usually also represented visually in a tree protection plan.
